Our new Pursuit MK2 was first unveiled in Las Vegas, Nevada at 2010's Interbike Show. It received an overwhelming response in the bike community for pioneering a new direction in frame detailing.
For our new Pursuit MK2 we sought out to bring our own interpretation of the classic Pursuit Track Frameset sporting vintage cues and all new, LDG original designed, one-of-a-kind dropouts. While the term Pursuit usually reflects the visual connotation of a slammed 650C front wheeled track monster, our frameset pays homage to the much sought after Pursuit look without the harsh rideability issues of of a once only dedicated track bike. We've modeled the geometry after a dual 700C setup and removed the neck breaking angles that traditional Pursuit bikes sport. The fork was designed to match this frameset featuring intricate CNC details and embossed fork caps to flow with the rest of the frame design.
Much pride was fused into the design consistent from our curved seat stays, sexy contoured downtube, to our 3H Allen bolted dropouts. Each dropout features precision cut dropouts that are CNC drilled to match the flush mounting allen hardware and gunmetal plated. We've also embossed the stainless steel dropout plates for that extra detail and feature a stainless serial number ID plate affixed to each bottom bracket.
